About Us

The Niagara Dental Health Coalition was established in 2015. The Coalition is a diverse group of stakeholders who are working to advocate and build capacity for the expansion of accessible dental health services for adults and seniors living on low incomes.

The Coalition aims to do so by:
  1. Overcoming barriers to accessing dental health services.
  2. Promoting efforts that help people navigate the existing publicly funded, lower cost, or charitable dental health services available in Niagara.
  3. Collectively supporting the work of the Ontario Oral Health Alliance (OOHA) whose mission is to expand publicly funded programs for adults and seniors living on low incomes.
  4. Enhancing collaboration between existing dental health services in order to promote service integration and improve access.

The Coalition is open to anyone who is interested in advocating for the expansion of publicly funded dental programs and contributing to strategies for reducing access barriers to dental health services.  Contact us for more information.
